You pay before we start, so the question is fair: what do you get back? It depends on where the work is. The rules apply to each item in your order separately.
By stage
- Before we start. Full refund. “Start” means we sent the kickoff email, asked you for access, or did any paid work on the item.
- After we start, before your first deliverable is sent. We keep 25% of that item’s price, with a minimum of $50, and refund the rest.
- After your first deliverable is sent. No refund for that item. Unstarted items in the same order follow rule 1.
- If we can’t do the job. Full refund of that item. This covers no access after repeated requests, an ineligible profile, work outside what we do, a conflict, a block by a platform, or regulated content we decline. If part was done, we refund the unstarted portion at a share we agree with you.
Examples
- A $199 item, started, nothing sent yet: 25% is $49.75, so we keep the $50 minimum and refund $149.
- A $599 Quick audit, started, report not sent: we keep $149.75 and refund $449.25.
- A $1,399 Standard audit, report sent: no refund. The recorded walkthrough is part of the audit.
- Two items in one order, one not started: the one we haven’t started is refunded in full.
Prepaid months and Fix sprints
A month starts on the date you pick or the day we have your brief and working access, whichever is later. It ends 30 days later. Nothing renews by itself.
- Before it starts: full refund.
- After it starts: ask in writing before the month ends. We refund the hours not yet worked or scheduled, valued at the price divided by the hour cap, minus 25% of that amount (minimum $50). Logged hours aren’t refunded.
- Example: a Local care month, $599, up to 6 hours. After 2 logged hours, 4 hours are unworked: 4 x $99.83 is $399.33, we keep 25% of that ($99.83) and refund $299.50.
- Example: an SEO month, $1,599, up to 15 hours. After 6 logged hours, 9 are unworked: 9 x $106.60 is $959.40, we keep 25% ($239.85) and refund $719.55.
- Unused hours expire at the end of the 30 days (60 days for Fix sprints) and don’t roll over or convert to cash.
- Same method for Fix sprints, using the hours on the sprint.
Bundles
A bundle is one line in your order. If you want to cancel one, email us and we’ll work out the split by the stage each part has reached, and write it down before we refund.
Access delays
The clock pauses if access hasn’t come within five business days of our request. See Terms section 4.
How to ask
Email hello@seogrowup.com with your order reference and the item. You can cancel an order by email at any point; what you get back follows the stages above. Please ask us before filing a chargeback, because we can usually sort it out faster.
When the money arrives
Refunds go back to your original card through Stripe, usually 5 to 10 business days.
What isn’t a reason
We don’t refund because rankings, traffic, leads or AI mentions didn’t change, because we never promised them.
Silent projects
If we ask you for something and don’t hear back for 30 days, we pause your project. After 60 days it closes. Anything we’ve delivered is yours; refunds follow the stage rules above.
Your other rights
Nothing here limits rights you have under law that can’t be waived.
